What We Charge For
Tires, Freon Containing Items
Deductions will apply by pound or % if the following non-acceptable items are found within the contents. There may be a labor charge deducted from the total for separation of such items if deem excessive.
Tin, fence wire, and metal appliances have lesser value then other ferrous items. The estimation of such product within the container will be based on % and paid at a lesser price. Note: dishwashers are not accepted.
Freon containing items such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc. must be properly evacuated to be compliant with US Law. If a unit was evacuated prior, the CFC License number of the licensed person that completed the work must be posted on the outer side of the unit. If there is no license number visible, there will be a $25 charge per unit for legal evacuation. (Per federal law, illegal venting carries a $10,000 fine per item)
